Dancing with the Richmond Stars

Hosted by the VCU Medical Center Auxiliary with Presenting Sponsor C&C Electrical Service, Inc., the tenth annual Dancing with the Richmond Stars will feature live performances by local All-Stars paired with professional dancers from Rigby's Jig. The performance will be followed by a celebration with light refreshments, beer and wine, music, and more.

Performance

Dancing with the Richmond Stars will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday, June 4, 2021 at the VCU Singleton Center, 922 Park Avenue. Valet parking will be available for a modest fee. Additional free parking will be available in the Laurel Street Parking Deck at 805 W. Grace Street (Grace and Laurel).

Celebration

Following the performance, all guests are invited to attend a Celebration featuring drinks, hors d'ouevres, music, and dancing at the nearby Cabell Library (901 Park Avenue). Directions will be provided at the performance.

Tickets

To reserve your seat(s) using your credit card, please click on the "Purchase Tickets" button. When purchasing your ticket(s), you will have an opportunity to indicate if your purchase is in honor of a specific star. Tickets are 65% tax deductible.

Note: Tickets will not be issued. Simply check in at the reservation table prior to the performance. If you purchased your tickets online, please print your receipt. Your receipt will serve as your ticket.

Our Project

Each year, Dancing with the Richmond Stars supports a unique project at Children's Hospital of Richmond at VCU.

This year, proceeds from the event will benefit our new inpatient children’s hospital. It will be a state-of-the-art, life changing, lifesaving institution for all children in our community. The facility will provide new operating rooms, imaging capacity, emergency department space and family amenities — exclusively to provide the best care in an environment designed for kids and families. The new facility will be a home for Children’s Hospital of Richmond at VCU’s extraordinary doctors, nurses, specialists and medical technicians to carry out their passion for pediatric care.
